My corner of the world wide web!

Who am I?

A GNU+Linux enthusiast, Emacs user and musician. I love retro hardware and budget computers.

I've been a Linux user for so many years I lost track of them, using Linux and nothing more. The only place I use Windows is at work, since they refuse to port their proprietary tools to Linux, and won't hand the source code so I can port them myself.

What do I use?

I daily drive an ASUS Chromebook CX1100CNA, with an Intel Celeron chip and a whopping 4GB of ram.

My ASUS PC

For the operating system I use Arch Linux (BTW) since it has a very recent kernel version which means it supports the audio drivers on my Chromebook fairly well, it's not perfect but they work, I can use the speakers and also the headphone jack connector works.

Secondary computer

I also have a secondary computer, which is slightly more powerful as it runs a 4th generation INTEL i3 processor and it has 8GB of ram, double the capacity I have on my trusty old Chromebook, despite this I barely use that computer since it's huge, heavy and the keyboard is not as good as the one on my Chromebook.
